Electrical Engineering Power System Simulation

EEDrawNet - EE Power System Analytics and Design

Welcome! EEDrawNet is a robust electrical power system analytics and design software. It allows you to create visual digital models of both small and large AC/DC power systems and perform comprehensive analyses. Through these digital models, you can effectively examine, investigate, demonstrate, monitor, update, enhance, and upgrade your systems. We are committed to providing unparalleled tools that empower engineers, researchers, and professionals to revolutionize their approach to power systems.

EEDrawNet runs on Windows 10 or later. You can try it free for a 15-day trial period. If you need more time, just contact us with your trial ID and we’ll be happy to extend it. To continue using the software after the trial, please support our development by purchasing a license. Educators can use it for free in their teaching courses.

Electrical power system analytics and design

EEDrawNet can be used to build complete power systems that contain both AC and DC components. It includes, in current version, the following analytics programs: Reliability Evaluation based on minimal cut-sets, Power Flow Analysis - snapshot or time series, Motor Starting Analysis, Short-Circuit with Arc Flash Analysis, Harmonic Analysis - Frequency Scan and THD Indices, Switching Transient Simulation, Equipment Sizing, and Control Block Simulation.

Feel free to download and try the software for a 15-day free trial. If you need more time to evaluate the software, please contact us with your trial ID and we will extend your trial duration OR support us by purchasing a license.

Features

Build Power System Digital Model

  • EEDrawNet makes it easyto build complete electrical power system digital models with a wide range of AC and DC components.
  • The ‘Network’ symbol represents a subnetwork, allowing users to model complex, hierarchical power systems.
  • Each component can be illustrated with its name, annotation and datablock.

Conduct Power System Analyses

  • The Reliability Evaluation program calculates reliability indices for a complete AC and DC power system using the minimal cut sets method and follows the IEEE Gold book standard.
  • The Harmonic Analysis program conducts Frequency Scan studies and calculates Harmonic THD Indices.
